Creative Photo Books
We all have photos of important events in our past. Many of us keep them in boxes or drawers. If you’re one of those people, you’ve probably thought of putting them in a photo book, but scrapbooking isn’t a hobby for everyone. To some people, it’s actually quite a chore. That’s where online photo book technology comes in.
Thanks to the Internet, it’s now easier than ever before to make a photo book with all of your favourite digital photographs.
Here are just a few ideas…
Fundraisers:
Is your local school or charity planing a fundraiser? If so, imagine how great it would be to make a book of photos from the event. You could even take it a step further and make scrapbooks to sell as a fundraiser. They could include area landmarks, pets of the students, wildlife in the area and more. There are many possibilities. Just remember to take care when photographing people. The school or organization may require written consent from them, in order to include them in the scrapbook.
Recipe Books:
Another great way to preserve photo memories is by making a recipe book online. Your whole family can get involved since, wherever they are, they can scan photos and recipes into the computer and e-mail them to you. Then, you can simply send the complete file to everyone and they can print off copies, if they like.
The great thing about having an online recipe book is that it’s so easy to scan images of family gatherings to put next to your favourite recipes. Not only that, but you can scan actual recipe cards to preserve recipes for generations. So, your favourite recipes never have to be lost. If you have a lot of recipes and photos to scan, you might consider taking them to a graphic design shop or print shop. They can often save you time by doing bulk scanning for you.
Occasional Books:
Many people like to make scrapbooks around a particular occasion, such as a child’s graduation, a holiday or a wedding. Wedding books can be made in a couple of styles. For instance, you might want a more formal book. If that’s the case, have someone you know take pictures along with your professional photographer.
On the other hand, you might prefer some informal shots. If that’s the case, you can even include pictures of the preparation for the wedding. That could include the bride trying on the dress for the first time, the bridal shower or any other important events leading up to the big day. The choice is yours!
