Hi there- just a little about me

I am a work-at-home mom of three teenagers.. I design websites (and  run 3 of them full-time), I enjoy digital scrapbooking, cooking, reading, crafts and camping~

And since this is starting to sound like an ad in the “personals”- lets just get to the “meat” of it:

I used to have a career in the health industry, on my way to becoming a Medical Assistant- which at the time included everything from running the office, patient intake and billing/coding..

Then after becoming disabled in 1997, with heart problems (incl. 2 open heart surgeries) and fibromyalgia, I was knocked off the track, and had to find a way to make income from home..

I started out with The Mystic Kitchen in 1998 – making herbal eye pillows, cold-processed soaps, herbal lotions & heat packs, etc..
As my Fibromyalgia became worse, I was unable to make the healing products I loved so much, and decided to re-do my whole business, and turn it into an informational “news” site.

In the last few years, I have become addicted to Digital Scrapbooking, (thanks to my sis-in-law Tracy aka retrodiva {designs} ).  I especially love *freebies* and always have a hard time finding good ones- and tutorials on what to do with them, once I do find them!

So, I created this site to help others find and download good freebies, provide tutorials and how-to’s and mostly just for fun!
